These are the cables we tend to use in our shop, and recommend to customers buying systems from us, and are consequently mostly from stock at any given time. 	Van den Hul D102/3 HB (GBP 140.00/ 0.8m set, GBP 160.00/ 1.0m set) These have been around in one shape or another for many years, and are a prime example of a Carbon/metal hybrid cable. This technology results in a very natural unfatigueing sound without the glare or grain so often associated with high resolution cables. Treble detail is very nicely presented, and bass is smooth and powerful. Well screened construction.
Trichord Pulsewire New! (GBP 110.00/ 1.0m set) A very pleasant surprise indeed from Trichord, better known for their electronics, these superb cables originally developed for digital interconnection, hence their true 75 Ohm impedance status, are superb interconnects, being exceptionally neutral and unobtrusive whilst conveying a lot of detail at the same time. We use these a lot for demonstration purposes where they don't add character to the system.
Origin Live Reference New! (GBP 159.00/ 1.0m set) I tried to gather some information on these from the Origin Live website, but they are incredibly tight lipped about the construction and materials used! If you know anything about OL, though, you should expect something special, and they don't disappoint. These are very detailed cables which live up to the OL reputation for clarity and precision - we use them frequently round the shop. Nuff said!
Van den Hul FIRST metal screen (GBP 220.00/ 0.8m set, GBP 250.00/ 1.0m set) Van den Hul FIRST Ultimate (GBP 250.00/ 0.8m set, GBP 275.00/ 1.0m set) Now in two versions, the Metal Screen for universal application, and the Ultimate, for applications in which the slightly increased screen resistance is unimportant. Supporters say that the sound has an unparalled naturalness, with a total absence of any hash, brightness, or artificiality. It has a very un-hifi quality to it which has won many friends. Detractors say it's too smooth and rounded. We're not here to judge it. Suffice to say, in the areas it excels it probably has no rivals at any price.
Isolda DCT300 (GBP 250.00/ 0.8m set, GBP 300.00/ 1.2m set) Always popular, Isolda cables (or rather the copper conductors within) now go through a cryogenic temperature cycling process before assembly, said to improve sound quality even further. They also come with integral ferrite sleeves to give a measure of interference rejection (the cables are unscreened). The copper conductors are flat in profile, and sit within PTFE insulation. These cables give a sweet, yet very detailed and three dimensional presentation, and are highly competitive in their price range.
Cawsey (Type B: GBP 400.00/ 1.0m set Type A: GBP 900.00/ 1.0m set) New! Cawsey SSI only GBP 250.00/ 1.0m set - these are superb value! Cawsey cables are one of our best kept secrets! In fact, they're embarrassingly good, and we're stupid not to have publicised them properly before. Almost every set we lend to our customers stay in their systems, having beaten cables many times their price! Cawsey, from Australia, are a bit coy about the technology, but I can tell you that very pure monocrystal silver conductors are used, with exceptional electrical and magnetic shielding, terminated with the acclaimed one-piece Bocchino plugs. Once run-in (as all cables should be), you get absolutely outstanding transparency and purity of sound - quite a revelation when first heard. Our reference cables.

Please note that we don't generally supply cables on approval. Customers who deal regularly with us (you know who you are !!), though, will know that we'll happily lend them demonstration cables without obligation 'till they find something which suits them. Just don't expect quite the same service if you buy all your equipment elsewhere and come to us for our cable expertise only. We don't feel this is unreasonable; we just have to allocate our resources appropriately.
