Mezzo Soprano is very classy looking furniture at a reasonable price. For the metal variety, the standard frame finish is silver, but crackle black is also available. The Real Wood MS, with solid wood pillars, is available in Cherry, Mahogany, Light Oak, Ash, or Beech. Shelves are 12mm clear glass. You basically start with a base unit, which comes with one shelf, the bottom spikes and top caps, and then build up your stand with add-on units consisting of shelf and four spacers (pillars). Six different heights of pillar are available, making this a very versatile system.

Please note: actual useable shelf space, between pillars, is 75mm less than the inner glass dimensions shown above

Spacers (pillars) come in the following lengths (all mm): 93, 138, 183, 228, 273, 318, 363.

For example, to make a standard size 3 shelf stand with metal pillars, with the top and mid shelves 138mm apart, and the bottom and mid shelves 228mm apart, you need a standard base unit, a standard 138 add-on, and a standard 228 add-on, total price GBP 300.00

Aria Modular Stands

The Aria modular range, has been around for some years now, and is a firm favourite - more Aria is sold than any other single Apollo stand! Superficially similar to the Mezzo Soprano, the shelves sit on metal cross bars welded to sections of upright, making it more rigid. The Aria is available in crackle black (above) or silver finish (below), with 6mm neutral tinted glass shelves as standard. The spacer/pillar lengths reflect the useable height between the shelf and the metal frame above. Four different shelf sizes are available (all 380mm depth) - 455mm, 600mm, 800mm, and 1000mm. Outside dimensions are 100mm wider, 70mm deeper (ie: a 455mm Aria is 555mm wide by 450mm deep).

For example, to make a 3 shelf 455mm wide Aria (overall width 555mm), with useable space of 183mm between both sets of shelves, order a 455 base pack, and two 455/183 add-ons.

Wall Stands, WT1 and WT2

Rigid welded stands, available with either MDF or neutral tinted safety glass shelves. Supplied with spikes (top shelf only on WT2). Recommended maximum loading of 45kg with suitable wall fastenings (not supplied). Shelves on both units are 460mm wide, 380mm deep.

Delivery of Apollo Stands - please read!

As pointed out, carriage is free, except where order is less than GBP 70.00. The goods are despatched direct from Apollo's West Midlands factory, and your receipt will come from us. We normally quote delivery as being within 2 weeks, although very often it's less than a week. Just lately, since Apollo's rival Target's sad demise, delivery has occasionally taken longer with the increased demand. If it's important to you, we will check with the factory first and report back.
Delivery itself is by carrier, and a signature is required, so it might be necessary to specify a delivery address different to your credit card billing address (ie: your work address, or a neighbours address) if there's normally nobody home during the day. Unfortunately, a specific day cannot be guaranteed. You can also specify that you want to pick up from our shop, although prepayment will still be required.
